Terms of service
In force since 20 October 2026.
1. Who you are dealing with
Horizon Film Lab is a trading name of Ramos Digital Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, with its registered office at 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. Where these terms say "we" or "us", that is the company.
Buying anything on this site, or booking a session with us, means these terms apply. If a particular item's page says something different, the item's page wins.
2. What you are buying
Two kinds of thing. Files are documents, templates and recordings delivered by email. Sessions are time with us — a call, a workshop, a review of footage you send, or a filming day. Items HFL-06 to HFL-09 mix the two, and each part is governed by the rules for its kind.
Everything is a single payment. Nothing on this site renews automatically and there is no subscription to cancel. Items described as monthly or quarterly run for the stated period and then stop.
3. Delivery
Files are sent to the email address given at checkout, normally within minutes. If delivery fails we resend by hand; see the contact page.
Sessions are scheduled by email after purchase. We hold a booked slot for you; if you do not attend and did not tell us beforehand, the session counts as delivered. We will usually offer a second chance anyway, because people's weeks go wrong.
4. What you may do with the files
You may use anything you buy for your own work and for work you are paid to do for clients, without limit and without crediting us. You may adapt the templates, strip our name from them and keep using them after any refund.
You may not resell the files as they are, publish them where they can be downloaded for free, or package them into a product whose main value is our documents. The line we care about is redistribution, not use.
5. What we own
We keep copyright in everything we write and record. For commissioned filming, the finished video and the raw footage are yours on full payment; we keep the right to show the finished work as an example of what we do, unless you ask us in writing not to.
6. What we do not promise
We do not promise any particular result — not views, not reach, not sales. What a video achieves depends on your offer, your audience, your spend and a market we do not control. Anything on this site describing what has worked before is a description of the past, not a forecast.
Nothing here is legal, financial or tax advice, and we are not advising you on how to run your business.
7. Refunds
Set out on its own page, the refund policy, which is to be read together with this document.
8. Payment
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Prices are shown in US dollars; if your card is in another currency, your bank sets the rate and may add its own fee, and we have no visibility of either.
The charge on your statement will show the trading name, not the full company name.
9. If something goes wrong
Our responsibility is limited to what you paid us for the item in question. We are not liable for indirect losses — lost profit, lost contracts, time spent — which is the usual position and also the honest one, since we cannot control how the work gets used.
None of this limits any right you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by agreement.
10. Ending things
We may decline or cancel an order and refund you in full, without having to explain. In practice this happens when we are booked, when the work sits outside what we do well, or in the rare case of someone who is abusive to us.
11. Changes
These terms may change. The version that applies to your purchase is the one published on the day you paid, and the date at the top of this page tells you when it last moved.
12. Law
English law applies and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
